Cohesity receives a significant valuation boost shortly after a successful rebranding partnership with Clear Digital, building on its incredible trajectory and momentum.
In updating the Cohesity logo, the Clear Digital team focused on strengthening its most iconic aspects. The green ‘S’ was an impactful element that became even more stylized with the refresh. By sharpening the angles, making the interlocking ‘C’ design more clearly interpreted, and then echoing these shapes throughout other parts of the Cohesity look and feel, this evolution created a more ownable visual approach. The Clear Digital team also helped the company clearly define its personality attributes which played a powerful role in refining its look and feel, as well as its voice.

A refreshed palette was a vital part of creating a more approachable and welcoming brand experience. We started by deepening the hue of the signature Cohesity green to make it more functional with text overlays. While previously the brand experience was more gray, green, and white, the expansion of the palette options to expand the use of bright secondary colors in the designs gave Cohesity a bolder, more vibrant sensibility.
Cohesity uses an isometric illustration style that effectively showcases three-dimensional concepts in a two-dimensional format. In updating the brand, the Clear Digital design team added more color and brand patterns to make illustrations more branded and recognizable. By animating the illustrations, Clear also expanded their storytelling capacity.
In most responsive site builds, the majority of design attention happens in the desktop version, while adaptations for smaller devices typically happen during programming. With the increasing importance of mobile experiences for the company’s users, Cohesity wanted to make sure the mobile version was fully designed to ensure cross-platform consistency and optimal impact.
The refreshed website was the first application of the new Cohesity brand. To maximize the impact and optimize the user experience, the Clear Digital team gathered inputs from across the Cohesity organization. Stakeholders from virtually every department participated, and the IA design integrated a broad set of needs into a cohesive experience.
With its refreshed brand and improved website, Cohesity has seen an immediate lift in engagement. Site visitors are spending more time with the company’s online content, which has increased lead generation and conversions.
